Welcome to the Concord Integrated Preschool! Our program is open to Concord residents and children of CPS and CCHS staff. We focus on language development, social skills, play, and kindergarten readiness in an enjoyable learning environment
The Concord Integrated Pre-School was established to serve the educational and developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5, providing an environment that promotes inclusion, diversity, and individualized support. It allows students with special needs to receive specialized services while interacting with their peers in a general education setting. This helps to foster empathy, social interaction, and collaborative learning among all students.
Program and Services:
The pre-school operates under an integrated model, meaning that it includes a mix of children with special needs and typically developing children. Specialized staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists, work together to meet the educational, social, and developmental needs of all students.
The curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate, focusing on areas such as social-emotional development, early literacy and numeracy, fine and gross motor skills, and language development. Through small group instruction, play-based learning, and individualized support, the school aims to provide a rich educational experience for every child.
